With more than 25 years of finance and operations experience, Gwen rose through the ranks of Chugach for more than two decades before her appointment to Chugach Commercial Holdings (CCH) Vice President of Operations. Prior to becoming Vice President, Gwen served for three years as the finance leader for CCH and in numerous leadership roles in Chugach’s government division. As a strategic advisor, Gwen provides oversight, support, and guidance to Chugach’s portfolio of commercial companies operating across the facilities maintenance and Alaska oil and gas industries. Gwen is a lifelong Alaskan, born and raised in Dillingham. She enjoys the Alaska outdoors, especially fishing, hiking and boating. She’s also an avid sports fan and loves traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.

Debbie is a a seasoned professional touting over 30 years of experience, including a 25 year career in legal and risk management at Chugach. In her role, Gwen is responsible for understanding business operations, commercial insurance program, legal support, corporate governance, and entity management to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws. She has a passion for her community, particularly seen in her charitable giving to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, ASPCA, Children’s Lunchbox, Public Radio, and American Red Cross. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, winter walks, and traveling with her kids and grandkids.
